A DOUBLE RAINBOW touches the old Rome-Canaan High School building with its promise and light. There are three historic school buildings on these grounds. They are part of the Federal Hocking School District, which includes the six rural townships of eastern Athens County, Ohio: Ames, Bern, Rome, Canaan, Carthage and Troy.

Our school board has leased the campus to the Federal Valley Resource Center, a community group formed to manage, preserve, and develop the site for the enrichment of residents of the district and the surrounding area.

FVRC meetings: Last Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm. All welcome!
