The 1890s wing complete with belfry, bell, and a 21st-century technology lab

THE OLD STEWART ACADEMY became a wing of the new Rome-Canaan High School building in 1917. It is the home of a community technology lab, the Lancer Satellite Center, equipped with Windows and Macintosh computers, printers, scanners, and copier. The Center is open from 5:00 to 7:00 pm each Tuesday and Thursday.

A second room in the Academy is used for community meetings and get-togethers. It contains the beginnings of a school history collection. Regular meetings of the FVRC membership and Board are held here on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm.
